General provisions

1.1. By using the services provided through the websites of SANATORIUM Helios, spol. s r.o., and the social media profiles operated by SANATORIUM Helios, spol. s r.o., you enter into a Service Use Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) with SANATORIUM Helios, spol. s r.o. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), with its registered office at: Štefánikova 81/12, Ponava, 602 00 Brno, Company ID No.: 48911577, VAT ID No.: CZ48911577, represented by its managing director MUDr. Pavel Texl. The Company is registered with the Regional Court in Brno under file number C 11552.

1.2. SANATORIUM Helios, spol. s r.o. bears no liability for any damage incurred by you or any third party as a result of using the above-mentioned services on the websites due to a breach of this agreement. The Company bears no responsibility for the incorrect use or interpretation of information presented through its websites or social media profiles.

Content and nature of the website

2.1. The content of the Company’s websites consists of information intended for the general public, unless stated otherwise. In particular, the content includes professional texts in the fields of assisted reproduction, gynecology, and genetics, information about professional events, and links to other professional websites or organizations.

2.2. The website is a database according to Section 88 of Act No. 121/2000 Coll., the Copyright Act. All handling of copyrights is handled by this Act. Copyrights to the information and articles belong to their authors or other holders of such copyrights and to the database creator in accordance with the law.

2.3. The websites also contain links to websites operated by other entities. The Company doesn’t warrant the content of such linked websites.

Discussion on the Company’s website

3.1. The website sanatoriumhelios.cz also includes a Discussion section. This discussion forum, including the possibility to ask questions, does not under any circumstances replace medical care and serves only as an alternative and non-binding source of information. Users are advised to seek professional medical care, which, due to direct contact with the patient, is far more effective in diagnosis and treatment. The website operator emphasizes that it bears no liability for any damage to the health of users or third parties arising from the use of the Discussion section.

3.2. Questions submitted to the Discussion section also serve as a source of information for users with similar issues. For this reason, the Company reserves the right to publish questions addressed to physicians through the Discussion section. Users are therefore requested to provide only such information in their questions that may be made public and, in particular, to avoid information that could identify the person asking the question.

3.3. Each user who submits a question via the specialized form located on the Company’s website automatically confirms their Consent to the processing of personal data, including special categories of personal data, in connection with the use of the Sanatorium Helios website.

3.4 Questions are displayed anonymously ( Only the first name of the user is displayed in Discussion) and personal data protection principles are being observed.

3.5. Users of the advisory service aren’t guaranteed a strict time frame of an answer to their question
